Topcoat 14

Designed specifically for coating blades where a superior product with chemical, UV, abrasion and mechanical resistance is required. This two-component polyurethane topcoat exceeds its predecessor ALEXIT® BladeRep® Topcoat 14 in four core aspects:

One-layer Application

Excellent roller application in one single layer

Improved Temperature Range

Application range from 5°C to 35°C

Convenient Packaging

No scale required for 0.5 kg container

Sustainable Protection

for the shell or less stressed areas of the blade

Product Characteristics

  • color shades (additional colors available upon request): 
    • RAL 7035 light grey  
    • RAL 3020 traffic red  
    • RAL 9010 pure white
    • RAL 2009 traffic orange  
    • RAL 9018 papyrus white
  • mixing ratio 4:1 by weight
  • 2-component tin: Puncture lid and mix thoroughly
  • pot life approx. at 23°C (73°F): 15min
  • drying time approx. 3.5 hours at 23°C (73°F)

Application

  1. clean substrate from dust, grease, oil and other contaminates
  2. sand the substrate with P120
  3. clean with dust binding cloth
  4. apply by roller in one layer (approx. 100 µm wet film thickness)
