BladeRep Topcoats can be used for the repair of wind turbine blades to restore their protection against UV radiation and environmental stress scenarios.

We only recommend using BladeRep Topcoats on GFRP surfaces such as the blades.

The surface must be clean, dry, and sanded. Apply the mixed Topcoat according to its Technical Data Sheet.

Yes, all BladeRep Topcoats can be applied by paint roll.

Spray application is only suitable for BladeRep Topcoat 12.

Yes, they are suitable for onshore and offshore wind turbines.

BladeRep Topcoats are available in all common industry standard colors, such as Light Grey (RAL 7035), Pure White (RAL 9010), Traffic Red (RAL 3020) and Traffic Orange (RAL 2009). Further color options are available on request.

Store in original, unopened containers within the temperature limits stated in the technical data sheets.

BladeRep Thinner 12 is used in combination with Topcoat 12 in accordance with the Technical Data Sheet. Do not add any thinner to BladeRep Topcoat 14!

Selected BladeRep products, including Topcoat 12, are approved by DNV.
