The Professional Approach to Blade Coatings
With the increasing emphasis on wind energy as a global power supply over the last two decades, we have concentrated our coatings expertise on the wind power industry and developed advanced coatings for wind turbine rotor blades to resist abrasion and erosion caused by global outdoor climates as well as focusing on elasticity, adhesion to laminates and other surface characteristics.
All ALEXIT® BladeRep® products are two-component, polyurethane-based and are designed for the long-term protection of objects exposed to extreme environmental stress.
Behind the Brand
Areas subjected to extreme environmental stress, specifically leading edges and tips need to be protected by a comprehensive repair system. Consisting of four products – profile filler, pore filler, leading edge protection and topcoat, ALEXIT BladeRep® allows applicators to select the most efficient product for each repair application.
With ALEXIT® BladeRep®, Mankiewicz provides a high quality and durable product line to satisfy the requirements of the blade maintenance market by prolonging the life cycle of blades. All ALEXIT® BladeRep® products are polyurethane-based, aiming to avoid the need for frequent costly blade replacements and extending the time between maintenance intervals – making it the cost-effective choice. As an internationally operating company with 16 locations worldwide, we can give on-site support, with local knowledge, wherever needed.
