Longterm Protection

ALEXIT® BladeRep® LEP10 is a specifically designed, one-layer system, for long-term protection of the rotor blade leading edge. Excellent abrasion and erosion resistance along with a high flexibility characterize this two-component, solvent-free polyurethane product.

Product Characteristics

  • mixing ratio 1:1 by volume
  • pot life 5 – 10 minutes
  • coverage 0,7m² / cartridge
  • drying time approx. 3h at 23°C (73° F)

 

Application

  1. clean substrate from dust, grease, oil and other contaminates 
  2. sand the substrate with P120
  3. clean with dust binding cloth
  4. mask the leading edge
  5. application with flex hose brush or static mixer
  6. levelling with finish brush
  7. target film thickness ≥ 600µm
